Research Topic Practice– Too Broad Too Narrow or Just Right
In Educational Research, a structured “funnel” approach is explained as a best practice to narrow the scope of research (Creswell and Guetterman, 2024).
Then, the broad areas of interest are condensed into a clear, specific purpose statement (Creswell and Guetterman, 2024). The research purpose statement identifies and distills the major intent of the study.
